About E-Sharp
The engineering team behind other companies’ hardware
E-Sharp is an electronics engineering company in Kävlinge, in the Öresund region. We design hardware — and build the test systems that prove it — for companies taking new electronics to production, from startups to global industry leaders. And we build the tools we work with, so our customers reach production faster and with less risk.
50+ years combined engineering experience • ISO 9001 & 14001 • 100+ test stations delivered
What we do
Services, hardware and software
We help hardware teams get from an idea to a product that ships. Our work falls into three areas — and the same engineers, and the same in-house toolchain, run through all of them.
Services
Product design, functional test development, design verification, and tailored Accordion test systems — from first sketch to production. Our services →
Hardware
The Accordion test platform, plus the Octave and Harmonix fixtures — modular, one API. Hardware →
Software
Maestro, Probe and Control Accordion — the tools that author tests, review designs and drive the hardware. Software →
Where the name comes from
A company named after a note that doesn’t exist
E-Sharp started with a wordplay. C# is a language every programmer knows — and, in music, a note. Follow the same idea to E♯ and you land on the note that doesn’t exist. Our founder, Daniel Rhodin — an engineer and a musician — named the company after it: E-Sharp (E♯), a name about creating something that isn’t there yet.
It’s a fitting emblem for a company built to make things that aren’t there yet. What began as a design consultancy has grown into a team that designs hardware and builds its own test platform — the same instinct, applied to test benches instead of sheet music.

How we work
Our values — and how they show up
Five values, and what each one actually looks like in the work.
Professional. Committed to high standards — and honest about them. We say plainly what we can and can’t do, and we’ll tell you when something isn’t a fit.
Innovative. Pushing the boundaries of technology and creativity. When off-the-shelf tools fall short, we build our own — Accordion, Maestro, Probe, Trace.
Respectful. We value others’ experiences. Diversity makes us better and we stay humble — the best solution usually comes from working closely with you, not from handing over a spec.
Curious. The will to learn and explore new ideas. “An engineer’s greatest asset is curiosity” — so we ask the right questions early.
Resilience. Sustainable business practices for long-lasting impact — long-term relationships and products designed for reliability, not just for launch.
Mission & vision
Why we’re here
Mission
To develop products and services that help European electronics companies succeed in the global market — fostering excellence and empowering our partners through quality and innovation.
Vision
Europe as a global leader in electronic innovation, with the Öresund region as its epicentre — and E-Sharp a key contributor to that transformation.

Where we are
Kävlinge, in the heart of Öresund
Our office and workshop sit in Kävlinge, ten minutes’ walk from the train station and in the middle of the Öresund electronics cluster. It’s a real workshop, not just desks: an SMT line, assembly and soldering, a temperature chamber and custom test rigs, a 3D printer, a laser cutter and a CNC mill — plus five fully equipped lab benches for electronics verification. So we design, build, verify and test in the same building.
That’s what lets us iterate in days and keep full ownership from first sketch to a working, tested product.
In numbers
Proof, not adjectives
The team
Electronics, FPGA, mechanics, embedded and test — in one team
Behind every project is a small, senior, multidisciplinary team: electrical, software, FPGA, mechanical and system engineers who’ve spent decades mastering their craft. When the test points at a design problem, the person who can follow it up is in the same room.
That experience is also where our own tools came from — Accordion, Maestro, Probe and Trace are the shortcuts our engineers wished they’d had.
